Bridgeport Art Center

Looking for something to do on a cold Friday night? Bridgeport Art Center has just the thing for you. Every third Friday of the month this art center host open studio events in their amazing 500,000 square foot building. Located on Racine and 35th this outstanding showcase opens up its galleries and artist doors from 7-10pm. The center has over 5 floors, numerous galleries, and hundreds of artist rooms with tons of art work to quench ones creative desire. Some of the exhibitions include Frank Rosenbaum on the 3rd floor, Chicago Maritime Museum on the river level, and the Chicago Ceramic Center on the 5th floor. Lastly there are complimentary drinks! Enjoy some of the art work from this past open studio night in November.

    Can anyone display their artwork. I know of a young H.S. student who is very artistic.

      Sorry for the delayed response. I am not too sure about how an artist can display their own work. The night I went, involves artist who open their personally rented spaces for the public to see. There might be other opportunities check out their website https://bridgeportart.com/
